Veronica Vinciotti received a PhD in statistics from Imperial College London in 2003. She then worked as a postgraduate researcher at the department of computer science at Brunel University London until 2007, when she joined the department of mathematics as a permanent member of staff and progressed to reader in 2017. Since 2020, she has been an associate professor in statistics at the department of mathematics at the University of Trento.
